Pine Barrens Campaign

The Medicine Waters Conservancy has kicked off a 3 million dollar campaign in 2008. These funds will be utilized to purchase key areas of the Pine Barrens for conservation and to implement a caretaking and education program. Volunteers will be contacting individuals from the Tracker School and the local community to ask for support. We are asking donors to consider a gift of at least one acre which will be valued at approximately $4,000 and payments may be made over a five year period which equals $67 a month or $800 per year. Gifts of all size are welcome and appreciated. For ideas of how your can raise funds for your gift, check out this document, How Anyone Can Give. We will also be contacting numerous foundations and corporate sponsors to help raise funds as well. Pledges to the campaign may be made by printing and submitting a Campaign Pledge Form.

Tracker 30th Anniversary Celebration

In 2008, the Tracker School is celebrating its 30th Anniversary! Tracker is hosting an event for which all proceeds will be divided between the three Tracker Non-profits. Join us on August 23rd and 24th for an event that's part renedezvous, part family event and all fun! There'll be skills workshops, games, dunk tank, great food and even better company. General Donations

By donating to the general fund, you enable us to utilize gifts where they're most urgently needed. We invite you to join in the vision by becoming a contributor to the Medicine Waters Conservancy. Your tax-deductible donation will help:

• Protect and preserve the land’s natural purity as a gift for our children and the children of generations to come.
• Initiate permanent conservation efforts through our restoration and caretaking programs.
• Support the general operations of the Medicine Waters Conservancy.
• Communicate with the Tracker Community and donors about our progress.

Caretaker Program Donations

Although we will be seeking grants to help pay for the equipment we will need, fund the professional foresters who will direct each caretaking project, and provide some form of stipend to each caretaker working the lands, we will need ongoing support from our members to initiate and keep this program going. Structuring your Donation

You can make a one time gift of any amount which will make a big difference and is always welcomed. Often times, we are able to give more and feel it less if we structure a pledge or an ongoing plan. Please consider these options:

• Pledge: If you would like to make a donation and split it up over several payments, we can easily do this for you. Just let us know the amount of your gift and how you would want to break down your payments. For example, you may choose to give $150 each quarter, for a total gift of $600. We will send you reminder notices quarterly to make the process easy for you. We can set up anything from monthly to annual gifts.
• Ongoing: If you would like to contribute on a monthly basis, this can be scheduled through Groundspring by clicking donate below in which case your credit card would automatically be charged the amount you select on a monthly basis. If you pledged $25 a month, your gift annually would be $300, perhaps more than you might be able to donate in a single gift. Even on a tight budget, $5 per month adds up quickly to a gift of $60 for the year.
• One time reminder: If there is a particular month when you prefer to donate, perhaps with a tax refund or at the end of the year, you can let us know of your intent to give at that time and we'd be happy to send a reminder.

Planned Giving

Have you considered a gift to The Medicine Waters Conservancy in your Will? What a wonderful legacy to leave to future generations. There are many ways you can structure a gift, so please consult your lawyer, or contact the Conservancy for ideas.
